ISOC is a membership-based organization and its members come from all sectors of the internet community including, private companies, government, civil society, and academia. It has over 100 national and regional organizations, called Internet Societies, which are based in different countries and regions, and work to promote the development and use of the internet in their respective regions. One of them is the Qatar Internet Society Chapter(QISC).
